1. Entry Level: Introduction to Drone Operations
Group course, 2 days duration and private course, 1 day duration (open every day)*

Description: This course is for those with little or no prior drone flying experience who wish to develop their skills and knowledge. The course covers basic drone control skills and understanding, equipment operation, compliance with Thai aviation laws, and CAAT-standard knowledge requirements. This course also includes preparation for the CAAT drone operator license knowledge test, which is required under the latest regulations. The course contents include:
Theory: 30% Consists of course content aligned with the new CAAT standards: - Unmanned Aircraft Law - Airspace - General knowledge of unmanned aircraft and the use of DJI drones - Human capabilities and limitations
Practical: 70% Learn detailed flight preparation, in-flight, and post-flight procedures. Practice controlling the drone in various flight maneuvers according to the instructor's flight plan, including emergency management and flight safety.
2. Intermediate: For Flight Skills and Control Training Course for Aerial Photography 2 Day
2-day group course and 1-day private course (open daily)*

Description: "This course is designed for those who have prior drone flying experience from Course 1. and wish to expand their knowledge into aerial photography and video techniques for both recreational and commercial purposes, such as real estate surveying and sales, engineering, maintenance, agriculture, security, advertising, public relations, content creation, and other missions."
Theory: 30% Comprised of content on interpretive filming and storytelling using various high-angle shooting techniques.
Practical: 70% Learn techniques and practice controlling drones in various flight patterns according to the flight plan set by the instructor, including emergency management and flight safety.

Advanced Flight Training for Specialized Operations
The objective is to align with and support the new CAAT standards, which stipulate that drone operators weighing between 2 and 25 kilograms must possess both theoretical and practical knowledge, skills, experience, and expertise in safety, airspace use, the use of different types of drones, and mission characteristics beyond the specified conditions. This will enable them to pass theoretical and practical tests. Drone Thai Training is currently developing a curriculum for use in applying for training center certification, after which training in this group will be offered in the future.
